What to bring with you

1. A GOOD ATTITUDE, RESPECT, AND INTEGRITY!

2. The proper Texas Hunting License  http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/business/licenses/public/recreational/index.phtml

3. Call Texas Parks & Wildlife if you are not certain which license you need.  800-792-1112

4. You will not be allowed to hunt if you are not properly licensed.

5. Proper hunting attire - temps range from 30° F to 100° F.  Check the local weather report below.

6. The Lodge does not provide alcohol, regular hunting equipment, and personal effects.

7. Scent control clothing and accessories.

8. Snake chaps or boots, flashlight, knife, and other hunting gear.

9. Bows, arrows, your gun, bullets.

10. Food, snacks, and beverages - if you are not paying for meals.

11. Ice tea, water, and coffee are provided.

12. NO glass bottles, liquor bottles OK.

13. Ice chests and ice.

14. Soap, shampoo, and a towel.

15. Bedding - sheets, blankets, sleeping bag, pillow, etc. (single beds)

16. Walkie-talkies

17. Cameras

18. Any other items you need to enjoy your hunting experience.

The Lodge Rules

1. All hunters must sign a release prior to hunting.

2. Drinking of alcohol is not allowed while hunting.  

3. Illegal drug use will not be tolerated.  Leave it at home.

4. The Lodge reserves the right to not allow a client to hunt if not of safe mind and being.

5. Hunt must be paid in full prior to first hunt.

6. Gratuities for guides and cook are customary based on the amount of your hunt and satisfaction.

7. Smoking is allowed BUT not in The Lodge.  You MUST dispose of butts properly.

8. Don't Mess with "South Texas".  Do not liter.

9. Treat fellow hunters and guides with respect.

10. Treat the property and animals with respect.

11. Do not leave your blind to track until your guide picks you up.

12. Do not leave your blind to stalk or hunt elsewhere unless discussed with your guide..
